iHeartMedia and EEP Universe debut "Nicki Fix's Time Mix," an iHeartRadio Original scripted podcast for teens and young adults. The music-themed time travel comedy set in the 1990s launches with two episodes with new episodes airing weekly on Wednesdays. The series follows aspiring pop star Nicki Fix and features original music by series writer Natalia Yanchak and Murray Lightburn of the Canadian indie rock band The Dears. Plus, a special appearance by Babydaddy of the American glam rock band Scissor Sisters in a supporting role. Head Writer Cecil Castelucci was known as Cecil Seaskull in the '90s indie band Nerdy Girl.

"We're thrilled to be putting out another incredible story with the EEP Universe," said iHeartMedia COO Will Pearson. "Right now we're seeing listeners crave authentic, entertaining storytelling so it's exciting to release a podcast like this that really immerses you right into the story."

Recalling beloved time-travel comedy classics like "Back to the Future" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure," "Nicki Fix's Time Mix" has a strong retro setting for Gen X and Millennial nostalgia, while centering Gen Z characters as the heroes who have to navigate it. And the story's surprising twists jump far into the future as well as the past, keeping listeners hooked until the very end.

"'Nicki Fix's Time Mix' was something we've been dreaming of for a while - a lighter addition to our lineup of scripted audio thrillers," said EEP Universe CEO Heather Einhorn and co-creator of the podcast. "It's got everything we love from our favorite teen comedies: fun music, trippy sci-fi, and a really compelling premise."
