SummitMedia/Knoxville Names JDub as WWST and WKHT PD

Joe ''JDub'' Dobbins

SummitMedia appoints Joe "JDub" Dobbins as the new Program Director for WWST (Star 102.1) and WKHT (Hot 104.5) in Knoxville, TN. He'll lead the imaging, content, promotions and branding for the two stations. Dobbins comes to SummitMedia after four years at Alpha Media in Lincoln, NE where he has served as Program Director and air talent for KFRX and WDJX. He has also worked for Cumulus Media and Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia) in his 19-plus-year career. He'll also serve as a WWST air personality.

"JDub's creativity, innovative mindset, and multi-format experience make him perfect to take Star 102.1 to the next level," said SummitMedia's Executive Vice President Randy Chase. "Summit is in growth mode. Great talent like JDub is the future of our medium, and we are excited to have him on our team."
