Sandman Steps Down from Role at Saga Communications

WVVR (Beaver 100.3)/Clarksville, TN Program Director Mike "Sandman" Sanders has announced his resignation from Saga Country outlet. He has been responsible for managing the station along with WRND-FM, Outlaw Country 100.7 and EZ 99.9. Sandman became part of the Clarksville group in September, 2020. Previously, he worked in locations such as Jacksonville FL, Charlotte, Denver and Nashville. His final day at the company will be May 23.
"Making this choice was difficult, but it's the right time for me to begin a new phase in my career, and I wish them all the best," said Sanders.
Sanders will be returning to Nashville in a soon-to-be-announced position.
