Charles Johnson, better known as Pastor CeJay, a veteran radio personality in Shreveport, has ascended to a position of significant influence within the gospel music sphere. During the opening weekend of September, Pastor CeJay, representing Alpha Media's Gospel KOKA-AM, was officially inaugurated as the President of the National Association of Gospel Radio (NAGR).

NAGR stands as the nation's singular trade association dedicated to radio professionals entrenched in the Gospel music realm. Its membership roster boasts a diverse array of industry stakeholders, encompassing programmers, management, engineers, announcers and salespersons. The organization's overarching mission centers on preserving the gospel radio heritage while nurturing its evolution for future generations.

Pastor CeJay stated, "I am deeply honored to have earned the trust and support of my radio colleagues, granting me the privilege to lead this esteemed association." He further elucidated on his role, emphasizing his commitment to working diligently across the nation to empower gospel radio professionals and artists in reaching their aspirations. "This responsibility is nothing short of transformative, but with the guidance of the Almighty, I am prepared to take on this challenge."

The official swearing-in ceremony transpired in New Orleans on September 1, marking the commencement of Pastor CeJay's tenure at the helm of the NAGR.
