KIIS/Los Angeles Names Matt Wheeler Director of Imaging

iHeartMedia/Los Angeles appoints Matt Wheeler as Director of Imaging for CHR KIIS-FM, effective immediately. He started his career in 2001 in Panama City FL as Production Director/Imaging Director WILN, WYOO, WVVE, WYYX and WPCF. In 2003, Wheeler moved to Sacramento as Imaging Director and Assistant PD/Video Producer for KDND, KWOD, KBZC and KUDL. From 2016 through his move to KIIS, he called Austin home as Creative Director, APD and Video Producer for KAMX, KKMJ and KKMJ-HD3.

"We are excited to have Matt join the KIIS Family," said KIIS-FM Program Director Beata Murphy. "We ran a very extensive search to find our newest family member, and Matt stood out during the interviews and gave us some brilliant examples of his work. We are thrilled to have him on the team."

"I still remember the first time I heard one of their legal IDs with those iconic call letters booming from the speakers of my first production room and thinking, 'Wow, so that is what a radio station can sound like.'
