Bonneville is making layoffs at its Seattle cluster with at least seven people departing. Most notable is the exit of afternoon co-host Shari Elliker from KIRO (Newsradio 97.3) and Bryan Suits from KTTH's morning show. Elliker, who joined KIRO in December, 2021 previously held stints as a traffic reporter and host in Baltimore and Washington, DC on several radio outlets.
Jake Skorheim will move from the nights to replace Elliker alongside John Curley in afternoons on KIRO. The station's night show will reportedly be replaced with CBS Audio's John Batchelor Show.
Conservative Talk KTTH morning host Bryan Suits, a veteran of Seattle radio, previously held positions at KIRO-AM and KVI-AM before returning to KTTH in 2022. The morning show is reportedly being replaced by syndicated Armstrong & Getty from 6-9am.
Additionally, traffic reporter Nate Connors is exiting.
