Cox Media Group's Hot AC KSMG (Hits 105.3) in San Antonio has announced the departure of morning hosts Jenny Lee and Tony Cortez. Lee, who had taken on roles as Assistant Program Director and Music Director, joined KSMG in 2013. Initially working in the afternoon slot, she quickly transitioned to the morning show. A Wisconsin native, Lee's broadcasting career includes previous stints at Mid-West Family Broadcasting in Madison and two years at iHeartMedia CHR WZEE (Z104) where she hosted evenings.

Cortez, a familiar voice in San Antonio radio, has had a long career in the area. Before joining KSMG in May, 2019 as an evening host and later moving to afternoons and mornings, Cortez worked at KXXM (Mix 96.1) and KXTN-FM (Tejano 107.5). His seven-year tenure at Alpha Media's CHR KTFM (Energy 94.1) from 2011-2018 also included roles as Assistant Program Director and afternoon host. Additionally, Cortez has experience at KHFI-FM in Austin.

The duo had been co-hosting the morning show since December ,2020, a period that saw the station rebrand from Magic 105.3 to Hits 105.3.

In a recent Facebook post, KSMG expressed their gratitude towards the hosts: "Our friends, Jenny & Tony are no longer on the air with us at HITS 105.3. They've been a vital and successful part of our team for a long time and we're going to miss them. They are both wonderful people and they will always have our appreciation and respect. We have some fun plans coming soon for you... stand by."
