Cumulus Media Promotes Marv Nyren to Regional VP

Cumulus Media promotes Marv Nyren to Regional Vice President of its clusters in Chicago and Minneapolis. Nyren currently serves as Vice President and Market Manager for Chicago and adds oversight responsibilities for Minneapolis. Nyren joined the company in 2017 as Vice President and Market Manager of the Chicago cluster. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Corporate Sponsorships for Chicago Public Media's WBEZ-FM.

Nyren also held roles as President and Regional Vice President for iHeartMedia's 13 radio stations in Jacksonville, FL, and Brunswick, GA and was Regional Vice President and Market Manager for Emmis Media for 12 years, managing the company's stations in Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix and Indianapolis.

Cumulus Media President, Operations Dave Milner said, "Marv brings a wealth of experience across multiple U.S. markets to this expanded role. Cumulus Media owns three radio stations in Chicago including Alternative WKQX-FM (Q101) News/Talk WLS-AM and Classic Hits WLS-FM. In Minneapolis it owns five stations including Classic Rock KQRS-FM, Rock KXXR-FM (93X) and AC WGVX-FM, WWWM-FM & WLUP-FM (Love 105 FM).
