Beasley's WBEN (95.7 BEN FM) successfully hosted its 13th Annual Adopt A Family Radiothon on Wednesday, December 11 at Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey, supporting the Volunteers of America's Adopt A Family Program. The 12-hour live broadcast focused on aiding nearly 1,200 local families to ensure they experience a joyful holiday season.

Listeners were invited to take part in the season of giving by "adopting" a family. Each adoption included providing toys, clothing, gift cards, and a complete holiday meal for each family selected. Additionally, the station accepted monetary donations and contributions through an Amazon Wishlist, further bolstering support for the families.

The Radiothon featured a collaborative effort with Philadelphia's ABC affiliate, 6ABC, enhancing the event's reach and engagement. Prominent 6ABC anchors participated in the live broadcast, offering real-time updates and coverage throughout the day, amplifying the initiative's impact.

BEN FM Program Director Kristen Hermann expressed gratitude and satisfaction with the community's response. "We are absolutely thrilled to help Volunteers of America with this amazing program that brings joy to so many families in our local community," said Hermann. "A huge thank you to our listeners, partners, and the entire team who made this possible. Together, we're making a meaningful difference this holiday season."
