The "McMahon on Keys" podcast has expanded its reach with the introduction of "Breakin' Indies Country Countdown," a new radio program dedicated to showcasing the top independent and rising Country artists each week. Launched in early January and broadcast on iHeart's digital satellite radio station "Kickin' Kountry 101," the hour-long show airs Saturday and Sunday nights at 6pm ET.

The countdown has already featured a range of talented artists including Jimmy Bowen, T. Graham Brown, The Swon Brothers, Casey Donahew, and others, emphasizing its commitment to giving a platform to lesser-known musicians in the country music scene.

This upcoming Valentine's Day weekend, the program will highlight Chapel Hart and Ellie Rivers, spotlighting their latest singles which explore themes of romance from very different perspectives.

Shannon Steele, Program Director and founder of Kickin' Kountry 101, praised the show's blend of fresh content and insightful commentary. "This show is the ultimate showcase for rising country stars and a definitive must-listen for country music fans," Steele said.

Jeff McMahon, host of the podcast and radio show, expressed his commitment to supporting emerging artists. "My goal is to lift my fellow creatives and provide a platform to get their music out to fans searching for something fresh," McMahon stated. With over half a million weekly listeners, McMahon is optimistic about the positive impact the platform can have on the careers of up-and-coming country musicians.

"Breakin' Indies Country Countdown" is accessible across multiple platforms including iHeartRadio, Apple Music, and the Kickin' Kountry Radio website and app. Listeners with Alexa-enabled devices can also tune in by saying, "Alexa, enable and play WKCK101."
