Jacksonville Mourns the Loss of Air Talent Eric Leffler

The Jacksonville music and sports community is grieving the loss of a well-known figure, Eric Leffler, affectionately known by fans as DJ EL. Leffler, a prominent radio personality on WPLA (107.3 Planet Radio), also served as the in-game DJ for the Jacksonville Jaguars and at major events like NASCAR races and the Welcome to Rockville festival.

In tribute to his impact, 107.3 Planet Radio expressed their condolences, stating, "Eric had a unique talent for creating unforgettable moments and spreading joy wherever he went. He turned every event he played at into a vibrant celebration. As we mourn, we also celebrate his enduring legacy and commit to keeping the music alive in his honor."

VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, where Leffler often energized crowds, shared their sorrow: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Block Party DJ and radio host, Eric Leffler. His infectious energy and the cherished memories he created during our concerts will not be forgotten. Eric will be dearly missed. We thank him for everything. Rest in peace, DJ EL."
