Independent Broadcasters Association (IBA) and Radio Vendor Alliance (RVA)

The Radio Vendor Alliance (RVA), in collaboration with the Independent Broadcasters Association (IBA), is set to host a thought-provoking webinar titled "Is Video the New Audio?" on Thursday, February 20, at 1pm ET. This 45-minute online workshop is part of a series of Lunch and Learn sessions designed to address the evolving challenges and opportunities within the radio industry.

Open to all without the necessity for IBA membership, the webinar promises an enriching experience with interactive discussions led by industry experts. Tom Dobrez, President of Cool Radio Streaming, and Gabe Edney of Paragon TV will guide attendees through the nuances of integrating video streaming into traditional radio frameworks.

Participants will explore various aspects of video streaming, including how to uncover potential revenue streams through hyper-local video content, ways to enhance radio offerings with complementary video content, and practical steps to launch a video streaming service quickly and cost-effectively.

The session will also feature a live Q&A, allowing attendees to seek advice specific to their needs, followed by access to a replay of the entire session. The primary aim of this workshop is to equip radio broadcasters with the knowledge and tools necessary to tap into the local content market via video streaming, a domain previously unexplored by many in the industry.

Registration for the webinar is free and can be done through the Cool Radio Streaming website. All registrants will receive a copy of the webinar, ensuring no one misses out on these valuable insights.
