NAB Opens Nominations for 2025 Marconi Radio Awards

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has officially opened the nomination window for the 2025 Marconi Radio Awards, which will remain open through May 31.
Established in 1989 and named after Nobel Prize-winning inventor Guglielmo Marconi, the prestigious awards recognize excellence and achievement in radio across a range of categories. Winners will be revealed during a special dinner program, sponsored by Xperi, on Tuesday, October 21 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. The event takes place on the eve of NAB Show New York, scheduled for October 22-23.
Stations and air personalities are invited to submit entries in over 20 categories, including:
- Legendary Station of the Year
- Legendary Manager of the Year
- Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year
- Small Market Radio Station of the Year
- Medium Market Radio Station of the Year
- Large Market Radio Station of the Year
- Major Market Radio Station of the Year
- Small Market Personality of the Year
- Medium Market Personality of the Year
- Large Market Personality of the Year
- Major Market Personality of the Year
- AC Radio Station of the Year
- Best Radio Podcast of the Year
- CHR Station of the Year
- Classic Hits Station of the Year
- College Station of the Year
- Country Station of the Year
- News/Talk Station of the Year
- Religious Station of the Year
- Rock Station of the Year
- Spanish Language Station of the Year
- Sports Station of the Year
- Urban Station of the Year
Entries must be submitted through the NAB member portal. The full list of rules and qualifications is available online.
Finalists will be selected by an independent task force of broadcasters and announced in July.
