Connoisseur Media has announced key leadership changes as the company prepares to integrate stations from Alpha Media into its portfolio. The transitions, which take effect June 9, are aimed at supporting the company's growth and ensuring continuity during the acquisition process.
Kristin Okesson, currently Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Connoisseur Connecticut, will assume additional oversight of the company's Long Island stations. Okesson, a veteran in the industry, brings extensive experience in suburban New York markets and a strong record in audience development, operations, and community and client engagement.
Meanwhile, Chief Operating Officer David Bevins, who has been managing Long Island operations for the past five years in addition to his corporate duties, will shift focus to broader strategic initiatives. Bevins will lead the transition efforts associated with bringing Alpha Media's stations under the Connoisseur umbrella.
"These leadership changes reflect our confidence in our team and our vision for Connoisseur's future," said Jeff Warshaw, CEO of Connoisseur Media. "Kristin and David exemplify the kind of forward-thinking, community-driven leadership that defines our brand. As we grow, we are excited to have their expertise guiding both our legacy markets and new additions."
