Collin Jones Elected NAB Joint Board Chair

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has announced new leadership following the 2025 NAB Executive Committee elections, with Collin Jones of Cumulus Media taking over as chairman of the NAB Joint Board of Directors. Jones, who serves as executive vice president of Corporate Strategy and Development for Cumulus Media and President of Westwood One, succeeds Perry Sook, chairman and CEO of Nexstar Media Group.
Sook will remain on the executive committee as immediate past joint board chair. The elections were held during the NAB Board of Directors meeting on June 9-10 in Washington, DC.
The NAB Radio Board elected Chris Ornelas, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Beasley Media Group, as its new chair. Leonard Wheeler, President of Mel Wheeler, Inc., was named first vice chair, while Allen Power, president of Broadcast Media at Salem Media Group, was chosen as second vice chair.
Eddie Harrell, co-president of the Audio Division at Urban One, was elected to the major group representative seat on the Radio Board.
