The Radio Research Consortium (RRC) has announced the appointment of Molly Y. Davis as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1. Davis, who has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2024, steps into the role following more than a year of interim leadership after the passing of former President Joanne Church.

RRC Board Chair Stephen Schram praised Davis's leadership and contributions to the organization's recent growth and revitalization. "We are very excited to see Molly Davis's leadership elevate the RRC's profile and value proposition for our public media and non-commercial radio industry clients," Schram said. "Her strategic focus and positive energy have driven a new level of organizational success."

During her tenure as COO, Davis led efforts to modernize operations, expand the RRC team, and improve services for public radio stations and non-commercial religious broadcasters. RRC CFO Carol Jacobs, who has served as Interim President since Church's death, called Davis "an invaluable member of the RRC team," noting that her "passion, commitment, and strategic vision" have already had a profound effect on the organization.

Jacobs will continue with RRC in a part-time capacity until her planned retirement next year.

In her remarks, Davis expressed gratitude for the opportunity to lead RRC. "I'm truly honored and humbled to step into the role of President and CEO of Radio Research Consortium," she said. "Together, I believe we can chart an exciting path forward, one that deepens our impact, strengthens non-commercial radio, and champions the power of data to tell meaningful stories."

Davis joined RRC after nearly two decades at WFDD in Winston-Salem, NC, and previously served on RRC's board of directors.
