Quu Inc. has announced that President and CEO Steve Newberry has signed a new three-year agreement to continue leading the company. Since joining Quu in 2020, Newberry has expanded the company's presence across the U.S. radio industry.

More than 2,000 stations now use Quu's patented technology to display real-time music, programming, and advertiser messages on in-dash vehicle screens. These "Visual Quus" aim to give AM/FM broadcasters a stronger, more memorable presence on digital dashboards.

Under his leadership, Quu also launched the Quu Visual Network (QuuVN), a national platform that enables advertisers to deliver visual radio ads tailored to local audiences. The company has also invested in original research, including its annual In-Vehicle Visual Reports and a QuuVN case study that showed on-screen campaigns can boost purchase intent by 89%.

Looking ahead, Quu plans to expand its technology beyond dashboards to digital audio, streaming, and emerging platforms, part of a broader strategy to strengthen radio's position in a shifting media landscape.

"The past five years at Quu have been incredibly rewarding," Newberry said. "We've worked hard to make visual radio seamless and accessible to stations of all sizes. Now our remarkable team is focused on new products to drive ratings and revenue across broadcast, digital, and future platforms. I'm excited about what's next, not just for Quu, but for the entire radio industry."

A broadcaster since the age of 21, Newberry previously served as Joint Board Chair and Executive Vice President of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and is a past recipient of the NAB National Radio Award. He is also the founder and chairman of Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation, which operates radio stations in his home state of Kentucky.
