Local Storm Center has teamed up with Turner Media Group to provide fully produced, localized weather coverage for Country WZBB (B-99.9) and Classic Country WYTI-AM & FM, which serve Southern Virginia from Rocky Mount to Martinsville.

The partnership launches in time for Martinsville Speedway's major NASCAR race weekend, offering weather updates for listeners and visiting race fans. The Martinsville event, a major stop on the NASCAR calendar, draws national attention and thousands of spectators, making real-time weather information an important part of local coverage.

"Weather is one of the simplest and most effective ways to sound local, and we're proud to help WZBB and WYTI deliver that for their listeners each and every day," said Johnny Caudle, owner and lead forecaster at Local Storm Center. "We're honored to support these stations with dependable weather coverage that keeps listeners informed and connected, especially during big moments like race weekend."

Turner Media Group President Eric Turner added that the automated, always-on-time service has already proven valuable. "As budgets continue to tighten and broadcasters are required to do more with less, everyone has a lot more on their plate to worry about. Thanks to Johnny and Local Storm Center, we no longer worry about weather coverage."
