Caloroga Shark Media has announced the launch of its newest scripted podcast series, "The Man Who Lived," a limited-run drama that imagines an alternate history in which John F. Kennedy survives the assassination attempt in Dallas.
Spanning ten episodes, the immersive series reexamines American history through speculative storytelling, exploring the political, cultural and personal consequences of Kennedy's survival. The season considers whether JFK could have secured a second term amid growing tensions within the Democratic Party, mounting concerns over the Vietnam War and the space race, and strains in his marriage.
The series opens on November 22, 1963, as the presidential motorcade moves through Dallas before chaos erupts with reports of shots fired. In this reimagined timeline, Kennedy survives and must confront the aftermath of an attempt on his life - including questions of presidential continuity, political vulnerability and the burden of a legacy altered by fate.
"Podcasting gives us the rare ability to place listeners inside history," said John McDermott, co-founder of Caloroga Shark Media and creator of the series. He said the project aims not to rewrite the past, but to explore how events might have unfolded had Kennedy lived.
"The Man Who Lived" premieres on Presidents' Day, February 16, 2026, with new episodes released weekly on Sundays across major podcast platforms. Apple subscribers will have access to the full season beginning February 16.
