GAP to Sell Midland-Odessa Cluster for $3 Million

GAP Broadcasting, headed by George Laughlin, has agreed to sell its group in Midland-Odessa, TX, to ICA Broadcasting for $3 million. ICA, owned by Barry Marks, also operates KOSA-TV (Channel 7) there. Included in the deal are AC KCHX-FM (Mix 106.7), CHR KCRS-FM (103.3 Kiss FM), Variety Hits KFZX-FM (102.1 Jack FM), KMRK-FM (96.1 My Country) and News/Talk KCRS-AM (550).
ICA has also inked a Local Marketing Agreement (LMA) to operate the stations until the transaction clears the FCC and closes.
