Horizon Christian Fellowship of San Diego has agreed to sell an FM construction permit along with two translators to Calvary Chapel of Kansas City for a reported $150,000. Following the closing of that deal comes a sale of one of the translators to Cumulus Media Partners (102.5 in Bonner Springs, KS), on which the company tells the FCC it plans to rebroadcast the soon-to-launch HD2 format of Oldies KCMO-FM.
The deal also calls for Calvary's religious programming to air on Classic Rock KCFX-FM (101.1 The Fox) as an HD3 channel. Calvary is also buying a translator (93.7) in Lees Summit, KS, while the construction permit is for KYLF-FM (88.9)/Freeman, MO (88.9).
