Saga Communications reported second quarter net operating revenue increased 4% to $32.9 million from $31.6 million in 2009. Operating income (OI) rose to $7.8 million compared to $6.2 million. Free cash flow was $5.7 million for the quarter. The company posted net earnings of $3.7 million (87 cents per diluted share) as compared to $2.7 million (63 cents) for the same period a year earlier. (08-13-10)
