Norsan Multimedia plans to flip Regional Mexican WGSP-AM (La Tremenda)/Charlotte to Spanish News/Talk as "Radio Formula 1310 AM." The switch to the Mexico-based syndicated Radio Formula format will happen June 29. The format targets a "more mature, educated audience," on array of political topics, current events and different points of view in economics, sports, immigration, among others.
Norsan Multimedia CEO Norberto Sanchez said, "By bringing Radio Formula to Charlotte, we are filling an existing gap in the Spanish radio offerings in the market. We are pleased to present this new option to our wide audience."
GM Edgar Saucedo added, "By the inclusion of Radio Formula 1310 AM to our portfolio of radio properties in Charlotte, we are sure to reach 100 percent of the Spanish-speaking audience in the market."
