Velocity Radio Mgmt. Announces Board of Advisors

Velocity Radio Management, headed by CEO Tony Renda, has announced its board of advisors. The lineup consists of Coast to Coast Productions Founder/President Ed Caplan, Tanner Friedman-Strategic Communications Works co-founder Matt Friedman, Fran Kirmser Productions founder Fran Kirmser, Insight Group CEO Bob Morton and On Air Research founder Ted Ruscitti.
"Today, Radio is experiencing pressure from outside forces: Leverage from banks and emerging technology, however most solutions to these pressures seem to come from within our own catalog of solutions: Push interactive. Sell hard. Cut employees, said Renda."
He continued, "We rejected this concept. We chose a board comprised of experts who not only know and understand radio, but who are also at the top of their field outside the radio industry."
