Clear Channel Names Joe Gersh GSM of Chicago Trio

Clear Channel/Chicago appoints Joe Gersh as General Sales Manager of AC WLIT-FM (93.9 Lite FM) Spanish WNUA-FM (Mega 95.5) and CHR WKSC-FM (103.5 Kiss FM), effective November 11. Most recently, he served as the Director of Business Development at NRS Media in Atlanta, a Sydney, Australia-based media sales training and consulting company.

"I am thrilled to announce that Joe Gersh is joining our team," said Chicago Director of Sales Matt Scarano. "Joe brings a wealth of experience with an extensive background in media sales management, advertising, and marketing."

"I look forward to working with the Clear Channel Radio Chicago team to drive direct, local revenue," added Gersh. "In addition, I am excited to return to Clear Channel after working for the company's former television division some years ago."

Prior to NRS Media, Gersh co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for the CTN Media Group. Previously, he was Senior VP/Sales for the U.S. Broadcast Group. Gersh has also held various senior level media sales management positions with New Vision Television Group, Fox Broadcasting Company, Clear Channel Television, Chase Communications Group, Malrite Communications Group, and Knight Ridder Newspapers.
