Clear Channel/San Francisco Names Don Parker OM


Don Parker is named Operations Manager of Clear Channel's 7-station cluster in San Francisco, including KIOI-FM, KISQ-FM, KKGN-AM, KKSF-FM, KMEL-FM, KNEW-AM and KYLD-FM. He most recently served as PD of crosstown Rhythmic CHR KNGY-FM (Energy 92.7). Previously he was VP/Programming for the NextMedia Group before resigning in January, 2005 to open a consultancy.

"Don brings a wide range of major-market experience to this role as well as a deep understanding of the San Francisco market," said President/Market Manager Dave Pugh. "We're looking forward to his perspective and impact on building our strong portfolio of radio and online brands."

Parker has also programmed the former KCMG-FM/Los Angeles, KKFR-FM/Phoenix and KTBZ-FM/Houston.
