Audacy and Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) have announced a multi-year extension of their broadcast and content partnership, expanding their collaboration across audio, video, and digital platforms. Under the renewed agreement, WJFK-FM (106.7 The Fan) becomes the flagship station for the Washington Wizards while continuing in the same role for the Washington Capitals.

When both teams play simultaneously, select Wizards broadcasts will air on sister stations WTEM-AM (The Team 980) and WDCH-FM (99.1 WDCH). Washington Mystics games will continue to be carried on 106.7 The Fan, The Team 980, 99.1 WDCH, and WJFK-AM (1580 The Bet), with live audio simulcasts from Monumental Sports Network's television coverage.

The popular "Sports Junkies" morning show, already simulcast on Monumental Sports Network (MNMT), will now also stream live and on demand on 106.7 The Fan's YouTube channel. Another top Audacy program, "BMitch and Finlay," will begin simulcasting on MNMT starting November 3, offering fans additional ways to connect with local sports content.

"We are excited to extend and expand our partnership with Monumental Sports to enhance the listening and viewing experience for fans," said Ivy Savoy-Smith, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Washington DC "Being the flagship station for the Wizards and Capitals solidifies our position as the top destination for D.C. sports fans."

v Zach Leonsis, President of Media & New Enterprises at MSE, added, "This expanded partnership with Audacy allows us to bring even more of the content fans love -- across radio, TV, and digital platforms -- whenever and wherever they want it."

The Wizards Radio Network, anchored by 106.7 The Fan, will air all 82 regular-season and three preseason games, featuring play-by-play talent Dave Johnson and analyst Glenn Consor. The Capitals Radio Network will again provide coverage of every game, with John Walton handling play-by-play and Ken Sabourin as analyst. A new weekly show, Capitals Saturday Faceoff, debuts this season on 106.7 The Fan and the Caps Radio Network Podcast Channel.
