NAB Announces Results of Radio Board Elections

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has announced the results of the 2010 NAB Radio and Television Board elections. The two-year terms of the newly elected board members will begin in June, 2010. Eight of the elections included incumbent candidates.

Here are the results of NAB's Radio Board elections:

  • District 2 -- Frank Flores, Chief Revenue Officer, Spanish Broadcasting System
  • District 4 -- Joel Oxley, Senior VP and Market Manager, Bonneville
  • District 6 -- Bill McElveen, Regional Manager, Citadel Broadcasting
  • District 8 -- Mike Grimsley, VP/Market Manager, Regent Communications
  • District 10 -- Rick Cummings, President/Programming, Emmis
  • District 12 -- John Beck, Senior VP/Market Manager, Emmis/St. Louis
  • District 14 -- Roger Utnehmer, President/CEO, Nicolet Broadcasting
  • District 16 -- Eric Brown, General Manager, KRVN-AM
  • District 18 -- Ben Downs, VP/General Manager, Bryan Broadcasting
  • District 20 -- Ron Davis, President/General Manager, KBOW/KOPR/KGLM/KANA
  • District 22 -- Joe Schwartz, President/CEO, Cherry Creek Radio
  • District 24 -- Don Benson, President/CEO, Lincoln Financial Media
Joel Oxley, Eric Brown, Bill McElveen, Ben Downs, Ron Davis, Rick Cummings and John Beck were the incumbents. (03-26-10)
