Premiere Ups Johnston to SVP/Sales Central Region

Premiere Radio Networks ups VP/Sales Central Region Douglas Johnston to the newly-created position of Senior VP/Sales, Central Region. Based in Chicago, Johnston will continue to lead the company's sales efforts for the Central Region and oversee the Chicago and Detroit offices.
"I'm proud to be a part of Premiere as we continue evolving to meet the challenges of marketers in the 21st century, while working with clients to develop creative solutions and deploying our consumer touch points for on-air, online, events and mobile," stated Johnston. "Being a member of the Premiere team the past 20 months has been rewarding both professionally and personally, and I'm very excited about the future."
Execuvtive VP/Sales Carol Terakawa added, "Since joining Premiere in 2008, Doug has proven to be a tremendous asset. His leadership, innovative thinking and creativity have been instrumental in helping our team meet the needs of our customers as they grow their businesses on air, as well as online."
Johnston started his career in 1990 at Katz Media Group. Over the years he worked at Disney/ABC, Infinity Promotions Group, Viacom/CBS, XM and most recently at Univision Communications, where he served as VP Client Development Group.
