Radio One/Columbus Names Presher as VP/GM

24-year media vet David Presher join Radio One's group in Columbus, OH, as VP/General Manager beginning in July. Most recently, he spent the last four years with Riviera Broadcast Group/Las Vegas as VP/GM of Smooth Jazz KOAS-FM and Alternative KVGS-FM (Area 108). Previously, Presher served a Director of Sales at KGW-TV/Portland, OR.
Radio One Radio President Barry Mayo said, "Dave Presher's wealth of experience in radio, TV and digital in such markets as Los Angeles, San Diego and Washington, D.C. is a welcome addition to our three FM stations in Columbus. We are fortunate to have enticed such an innovative and motivational manager as Dave to join the Radio One family."

The Columbus market is a great operation and Jeff Wilson, who is now the General Manager in Cleveland, as well as all the staff in Columbus, deserves a lot of credit for building a winning team."
Presher will oversee Urban Oldies WXMG-FM, Gospel WJYD-FM and WCKX-FM (Power 107.5). His previous management stints include WJLA-TV/Washington, DC, CBS Radio/Dallas and Smooth Jazz KTWV-FM (94.7 The Wave)/Los Angeles.
