Citadel Names Davidson Director of Media Strategy

Citadel Broadcasting appoints Jeff Davidson as Director of Media Strategy. In this newly-created position, Davidson will supervise all research projects across Citadel's terrestrial radio, network and digital platforms. He'll report to VP/Programming Scott Shannon, beginning July 6. Davidson most recently served as National PPM Account Manager for Arbitron.
"Jeff's background in radio and extensive experience in ratings and research uniquely qualify him to lead our corporate research efforts," said Shannon. "Our industry remains highly competitive, which makes it vitally important for our Company to completely understand our audiences and develop new strategies to meet their needs. We are confident his leadership will produce tremendous results within our stations and networks."
Davidson began his radio career in 2000 as an on-air personality with WKYE-FM in Johnstown, PA. He has since held various positions in sales, programming and management with Forever Broadcasting and CBS Radio.
