Casey Kasem's Original "American Top 40" from the 70's will debut July 25 on Journal's KLIO-AM (True Oldies 1070)/Wichita. The countdown, digitally remastered and in its original broadcast form, will air every Sunday morning at 10am. Featuring the weekly countdowns that ran from 1970-1978, the show is currently heard on more than 100 outlets.
"Hearing the shows each week in their original form will immediately take you back to the '70s. I am very excited to get these American Top 40 shows on the air for our True Oldies 1070 listeners," said Operations Manager Beverlee Brannigan.
