Veteran Chicago air personality Jonathon Brandmeier is being sued by former agent Lisa Miller reports Chicago Breaking Business. She and her Miller Broadcast Management are trying to recover $180,000 in past fees and more than $100,000 in attorneys fees for a total of $312,000. Miller went to Cook County Circuit Court to enforce a June 10 arbitrator's decision.
Brandmeier was ousted from mornings at Emmis-owned Classic Rock WLUP-FM/Chicago in November, 2009, with three months left on his deal. The station, which served as Brandmeier's employer from 1983 to 1997, brought him back in 2005.
So far, Brandmeier has not complied with the arbitrator's ruling to pay up. Miller is entitled to interest of $29.60 per day since the June 10 ruling, the suit said.
