Alternative WWWQ-HD2 (99X)/Atlanta signs with Cumulus to become the new flagship station for the Atlanta Hawks. The team's former home, Sports WCNN-AM (680 The Fan), will continue as flagship for Atlanta Thrashers hockey. Hawks play-by-play announcer Steve Holman will return to host pre- and post-game shows, a weekly coach's show on 680 The Fan, while calling the Hawks games.

"We've enjoyed a long-standing partnership with 680 The Fan as our flagship radio station for the Thrashers," said Hawks and Thrashers Chief Sales Officer and Senior VP/Sales and Marketing Tracy White.
