KGO-AM/San Francisco Tweaks News/Talk Format


Citadel's KGO-AM/San Francisco unveiled a new generation of its News/Talk format Monday that is heavy on traffic and de-emphasizes weather and sports, reports Rich Lieberman 415 Media. KGO is now branding as "First Traffic" and is airing "Traffic on the 5's" with extended coverage and a more updates around traffic.

Lieberman says anchors Ed Baxter and Jennifer Jones-Lee are still at the helm with Rich Walcoff handling the sports and veteran Stan Burford at the traffic desk.
