Howard Stern said on his satellite radio show on Thursday that he's "pretty sure" that he will be leaving Sirius XM Radio at the end of the year when his 5-year multi-million dollar contract expires. However, he told listeners that he'd be interested in staying. Stern would also like to have a year-to-year deal and the ability to add a third channel to Howard 100 and Howard 101.
Stern is also considering streaming and mobile app options on a subscription basis and that it would take "almost a miracle" for Sirius to re-sign him. Another option would be to leave radio entirely but he's decided stay in the radio business and his "priority" is to remain with the satcaster.
