Sirius XM Radio's Opie & Anthony revealed to listeners on Friday that they've inked a new two-year deal to remain with the satcaster. The signing came on the day that their contract would have expired. The duo had been in contract negotiations for quite some time, and they even vented their frustration on-air in a move to get bigger studios.
The duo is reportedly getting "about the same" amount as what they were earning under their first deal with XM Radio. Opie reportedly said, "They made us really happy at XM with a lot of extra things."
