Urban WVEE-FM (V-103)/Atlanta taps veteran air personality Egypt Sherrod for middays, beginning Monday, March 19. The Philadelphia native previously worked on-air at WWPR-FM (Power 105.1), and before that she handled middays at WERQ-FM (92Q)/Baltimore. She's also made stops at Urban WPHI-FM (100.3 The Beat)/Philadelphia and Urban AC WBLS-FM/New York.
"I'm very excited about Egypt joining the V-103/WAOK radio family," said VP/Urban Programming and V-103 PD Reggie Rouse. "Egypt is one of the top air personalities in the country and we look forward to her being a part of our team."
Senior VP/Market Manger Rick Caffey added, "Egypt's talent, national appeal and professionalism is the perfect combination to compliment our current all star line-up and take middays to the next level."
"It's hard to fully express how overwhelmingly blessed I feel at this moment about everything that is coming to fruition in my career and personal life," said Egypt. "Joining the CBS Radio family at Atlanta's number one rated station is so refreshing. Add to that, my new hosting position with "Property Virgins" on HGTV... and I literally feel like I am on top of the world."
