Facebook Bans RO Editor from Friending for 2nd Time

Commentary: If you want to be friends on Facebook with RADIO ONLINE co-founder Ron Chase, don't be upset if he doesn't ask you. For the second time in as many months, Facebook has banned him from sending Friend requests. He's been in the radio business for 42 years and knows a lot of industry people. But Facebook can't understand that.
Chase would like to invite all of those who subscribe to RO or are a part of its daily circulation to be Friends. Not so they will hear what he has to say, but so he can hear what they have to say. You can't Like a person's Facebook account and virtually no one is using the Subscribe feature.
And to add more non-sense to the equation, Facebook constantly parades a never-ending list of potential Friends, or people you might know, when you're online. It will even e-mail you a list of people your mutual Friend(s) has added. The last request before Chase was banned was to his sister. We kid you not. "Are you sure you know this person?" Yes, he does.
So, if you want to be friends with Chase, we're afraid that you'll just have to go to http://facebook.com/ronchase2020 and send him your Friend request. He'll probably say yes. Unless he's banned from that too.
