Tony Bristol Named Y107.9/Savannah-Hilton Head PD


L&L Broadcasting taps veteran programmer Tony Bristol as Program Director of Hot AC WXYY-FM (Y107.9) in Savannah-Hilton Head. Bristol previously served as Operations Manager of Cumulus in Providence, RI. While there, Bristol was also PD of CHR WPRO-FM (92 Pro FM) and co-owned AC WWLI-FM (Lite Rock 105). In 2001, under Citadel, he was appointed Format Captain for its CHR outlets.

L&L Broadcasting Savannah/Hilton Head VP/Market Manager Gigi South commented, "Tony and I got to know each other when he was consulting Hot AC brands nationally for Citadel. Prior to Citadel, Bristol served as PD of CHR WKCI-FM/New Haven, CT, and Hot AC WDAQ/Danbury, CT. He made the move to WKCI from MD duties at WTIC-FM/Hartford.
