Benavides Closes on Acquisition of KXQT-FM Odessa-Midland

Jerry Benavides has closed the acquisition of 50kW Adult Hits KXQT-FM (105.9 Frank FM) licensed to Stanton, TX and serving Odessa-Midland, TX. KXQT is a C-2 FM broadcasting on 105.9 mHz. Benavides as an individual also has broadcast interests in Dallas, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, TX. The seller is Four R Broadcasting, headed by Frank DeFrancesco, who has remaining broadcast interests in San Angelo, TX and Clovis, NM.

Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group served as the broker for the transaction.
