Salem Media Group has entered into an agreement to transfer the ownership of its cluster of station in Greenville-Spartanburg, SC to Educational Media Foundation (EMF). Terms were not immediately disclosed. Included in the deal are 100kw Talk WGTK-FM (94.5 The Answer), 2.7kw Classic Hits WRTH-FM (103.3) and 6kw Classic Hits WLTE-FM.
Salem Media CEO David Santrella stated, "We have enjoyed our years in the Greenville-Spartanburg market but have made the strategic decision to divest our interests there.
