RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, July 17, 2019 |
After WUSN-FM (US99)/Chicago ousted morning hosts Doug Stylz and Justin Roman in May, the Entercom Country outlet plans to name Jason Pullman as its new morning personality, reports Chicago media columnist Robert Feder. Pullman is the former morning host at WUBL-FM/Atlanta and is expected begin his new post early next month. Before his 10-year run in Atlanta, which ended in January, he was on the air in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Detroit, St. Louis and San Francisco. Feder also reports that Pullman will be joined by Katie Bright, who previously worked in radio in Nashville and Eau Claire, WI.
Earlier this week, Feder says, US99 parted company with morning producer and weekend host Tony Kelly. Also out after three years in nights was Kimmie Caruba. Replacing Caruba from 7pm-midnight is Marci Braun, who'll voicetrack the show while continuing as Assistant PD/MD.
