Wondery Launches ''Mom's Car'' With Dax Shepard

Wondery has introduced Mom's Car, a new weekly video podcast featuring Dax Shepard and his childhood best friend Aaron Weakley riding through Los Angeles in Kristen Bell's car while delivering food orders -- with special guests joining in the back seat. The show debuts August 26 on YouTube and across podcast platforms, with new episodes released weekly.

The series leans into Shepard and Weakley's nearly 40-year friendship, turning routine delivery runs into unscripted conversations and encounters. Weakley is already familiar to Armchair Expert listeners as a recurring guest and longtime friend of Shepard.

"I've been pining for the days when my best friend Aaron and I would drive around aimlessly for hours, laughing and telling stories," Shepard said. "I couldn't think of a valid reason why we should resume that behavior in our 50s, and then along came Uber Eats."

Shepard is known for NBC's Parenthood and the Wondery podcast Armchair Expert, which he co-hosts with Monica Padman. His film and TV credits include Without a Paddle, Idiocracy, Hit and Run and CHiPs (which he also wrote and directed), MTV's Punk'd, Netflix's The Ranch, ABC's Bless This Mess and Top Gear America.

Mom's Car is a co-production of Armchair Expert and Wondery.
