Joe Johnson returns to iHeartMedia Rock WROV-FM (Rock 96.3)/Roanoke, VA as afternoon host, beginning Monday, June 14. He previously programmed and handled afternoons at WROV from 2011-18. Most recently, Johnson served as Program Director and afternoon host (2-7pm) for co-owned WRDU-FM (Classic Rock 100.7)/Raleigh, beginning in September, 2018 until being laid off in January, 2020. He began his career at WXTB-FM (98 Rock)/Tampa and is a graduate of the University of Florida.
