Buffalo's Oldies station "The Big WECK" (100.1, 100.5, 102.9 and 1230 AM) will debut a new line-up on Monday, March 7. Well-known Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Famer Joe Chille moves to morning drive. He's spent more than 40 years in the market as a morning host, having moved from The Breeze and its numerous predecessors on the frequency in October, to host afternoon drive on The Big WECK.
Tom Donahue, another Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Famer, whose longtime career includes stints at legendary former radio powerhouse WKBW, along with WYSL, WGR and other stations, moves to late mornings. Donahue has been hosting mornings for several years at WECK.
Yet another Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Famer Roger Christian, who spent more than 40 years at crosstown WTSS and its predecessors on that station's frequency, moves to early afternoons. He has been at WECK for the past two years.
Bobby O moves from evenings to afternoon drive. He got his start in his hometown of Buffalo before moving to major markets such as Philadelphia, before returning to his Buffalo roots and WECK.
Big WECK Program Director Glenn Topolski is the station's evening talent, while Bob "Junior" Rosati joins from crosstown Cumulus to host overnights on WECK. Other voices on the station include Sheri Van Dyke and Jim Merkel.
