KMVA-FM/Phoenix Adds Charlie Huero to Afternoons

Rhythmic Hot AC KMVA (Hot 97.5 & 103.9) Phoenix adds veteran radio host Charlie Huero to afternoons, beginning November 1. He most recently worked at crosstown Classic Hits KOOL-FM as APD/afternoons, and exited with the station's new branding as Big 94.5. Huero's previous stops include on-air duties on WLXR La Crosse WI, on air host and programming assistant at WLUM Milwaukee, on-air host and AMD at XHTZ San Diego and AMD at KPWR Los Angeles.

PD Mike Gallagher said, "To have the opportunity to bring on absolute pros like Charlie Huero and Super Snake to the station in the span of less than 30 days is a dream scenario. Charlie is a guy who believes in the power of local radio, he's entertained the Valley for over 20 years, and his passion matches our new rhythmic, up-tempo playlist perfectly."
