ALT 949/San Diego Names Mady Rhodes as Midday Host

Mady Rhodes is named the new midday host on Audacy's KBZT-FM (ALT 949) in San Diego. She can be heard weekdays from 10am-3pm PT. Born and raised in San Diego, Rhodes joined ALT 949 as a board operator in 2015 before becoming an air personality in 2017 and later assistant morning show producer in 2019.

"Mady is a great addition to the ALT 949 air staff," said ALT 949 Vice President and Brand Manager John Allers. "She offers a unique spin on the music we play, and she loves San Diego even more than Ron Burgundy!"

"I'm very honored as a San Diego native to be hosting middays on a station that I grew up listening to," added Rhodes. "I can't wait to get to know you and nerd out about music in middays on ALT 949."
