Marky Marc Named WKYS/Washington DC Late Night Host

Marky Marc is set to take on a new role as late night host at Radio One Urban WKYS-FM in Washington, DC starting on May 15. He's replaces Little Bacon Bear. Born and raised in the nation's capital, he previously handled nights at WZFX-FM (Foxy 99) in Fayetteville, NC. After one year of doing nights, Marky Marc eventually returned to where he began his career at WJMH-FM (102 Jamz) as the night's host and eventually afternoon drive host, providing strong ratings in Greensboro, NC.

"We are thrilled that Mark is joining our team," said WKYS Program Director Mike "Swift" Powell. "His positive energy and passion for radio are contagious and needed in today's industry. We're looking forward to making history with Marc as part of our D.C. family."
