Kevin ''KC'' Cummings Takes Over Afternoons at WQYK/Tampa

Kevin "KC" Cummings is named the new afternoon personality for Beasley Media Country WQYK-FM in Tampa Bay. He'll air weekdays from 3-8pm. KC began his new post on Monday, March 4. He most recently worked parttime on the station. Previously, KC was formerly known as "Stiffy" on co-owned Rhythmic CHR WLLD (WiLD 94.1) in Tampa.

"It so exciting to be able to bring back a great talent and reimagine that person in a new way," said Vice President and Market Manager Ron deCastro. "Adding KC to the top country station in Tampa brings his creativity to new listeners."

"After a comprehensive nationwide search and meeting some great talent, we realized that the best person for the job was right here in our building," added Program Director Rick Thomas. "KC Lives and breathes the contemporary Country lifestyle. He has a local and authentic presentation and will be a great asset to our 99.5 QYK team."
